West 149 St, Harlem

This street is not bad, it's very dirty, and there are a lot of people out. Fortunately, it is very near the 3 train at 149th Street, and isn't too long of a walk to better streets in the area. I think this would be a good place for someone looking to save a dollar on their rent, but the hike back uptown every night might be a little much for some people. On the other hand, some people seem to enjoy living on this side of town because it is less pretentious and more affordable. I guess it's a catch-149.
