Where have all the sidewalk sales gone?

Sidewalk sales this time of year are on the rise in Seattle, or so I've heard. Many stores and boutiques are ridding their summer merchandise to make room for fall and winter goods. The Queen Anne Sidewalk Sale is the one I am most familiar with that takes place this time of year. Stuhlberg's, Queen Anne Books, and Queen Anne Dispatch are all participants. I keep hearing about other sales taking place but have yet to locate them. Anyone have any ideas on the location of these great summer sale venues?
