Heat Wave in Seattle

Last week's heat wave was very intense in Seattle. Ninety degree weather with a dash of humidity makes for some cranky citizens. Most in the city don't have air conditioning which could add to the tension. Read that there were some cooling centers that opened up for senior citizens and their caged animals. This week is supposed to be much more mild with highs in the upper 70s. Happy about that but looking forward to another bout of great sunny weather here in the city. How did you feel about the heat wave? What did you do to keep cool?
