"One way street between two busy streets"

Hickory Street is a small, five block, one-way street extending from Webster Street to Van Ness Avenue, however there is no Hickory Street between Laguna and Octavia Street. This one-way heads away from Golden Gate Park, and drivers should be careful when turning onto Hickory Street as to not head in the opposite direction of the one-way sign. Transportation is also accessible, as the 21 Muni Bus runs on Groove and Hayes Street, the 16AX and BX on Fell Street, and the 49 and 47 on Van Ness Avenue. Hayward Playground is nearby on Golden Gate Avenue, and behind the Hayward Playground is Jefferson Square on Turk Street. On Webster and McAllister Street is the Ella Hill Hutch Recreation Center. There is also the Kushlnd Park on Buchanan and Page Street.

"Hickory Street: Intersects many other streets"

Hickory street intersects many other long streets, such as Octavia Boulevard, Gough Street, Franklin Street, and Van Ness Avenue. There is a huge apartment complex near the intersection at Gough and it looks very guarded, safe, and clean. Below the apartment complex are a few shops. There are huge houses that can support more than one average sized family. There are a few business buildings lining the street, but there are plenty of stores surrounding them too. There is a recreational facility that includes basketball courts and a mini playground on this street. Some parts of this street are cleaner than others because a few parts of the sidewalks are in bad condition and some buildings have graffiti on them. Those are the only negative aspects of this street that can be improved. Other than that, this street is pretty good since it intersects so many long streets that have bus stops and stores waiting to be visited and explored.
