"Nice Homes, Close to Lake and School"
This is a lovely neighborhood that is within walking distance of Silver Lake. The homes on Hearst Drive, NE are upper middle class and are well maintained. People who live on Hearst Drive have lived in the neighborhood for years and are proud property owners. Also on Hearst Drive is Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. It has an active congregation and a church school, so if you are Catholic and want a parochial education for your child, it is right in your neighborhood. This is a quiet and very nice place to live. You do need a car to do your shopping, but that doesn't seem to bother anyone living here. It's a small price to pay for the peace and quiet.
