East Brookhaven Dr Northeast, North Atlanta

Living on Brookhaven Drive Norh East is both good and bad for the same reason: it is close to MARTA, the mass transit line for Atlanta. If you work downtown, then this is a great place to live because it is convenient to the train. However, because it is convenient to MARTA, it is also a busy, bustling place that always has lots of traffic. This is good because there is lots of shopping, but bad because it is always congested. You have to make a choice. Ironically, there are some very expensive and large homes on Brookhaven Drive that are close to Peachtree Industrial Road and the MARTA station, so those homeowners don't seem to mind the location. This street actually curves around and comes back onto Peachtree, where there are some multi-story apartments. Brookhaven also branches off into W. Brookhaven and E. Brookhaven -- it can be a bit confusing until you get to know your way around.
