I was just going to answer about A Spice of Life too! Something else this makes me think of is Lyons, Farmette's pizza dinners. There were five dinners/events scheduled last summer and probably more in 2013? The dinner included locally grown and prepared food, a farm tour, bonfire and lawn games.

A Spice of Life Catering (www.aspiceoflife.com) has a pretty extensive farm to table program. They work with several local farms and offer a monthly menu based on seasonal produce, and they can also build custom menus or incorporate specific vendors. I haven't used them myself, but it looks like a great program!
