Western Ave, Lower Bal (Halcyon Foothills South)

It is odd how can you drive over a couple of streets and the whole atmosphere changes. I take Western Avenue quite a bit when I’m leaving Halcyon park because it is a quick and easy access to Halcyon Drive which leads me in the direction of my house. I wouldn’t say that Western Avenue is a bad street, I just think that it could use a face life in terms of some updating. Some parts of the street have a rather sinister look. The overhead that passes above some of the houses and the railroad track is sure to attract the wrong kids of crowds at night. You can tell that by the horrible graffiti that covers the stems of the overpass. I certainly would not want to live on this street with kids.
