Sunnydale Ave, Excelsior

The middle section of the street is probably the most rundown part of it all. Over the years, the sunnydale area has gained a reputation for being torn by violence, gangs, and criminal activity. This place is not a joy to drive through, and definitely not to walk through, especially during afterschool hours, 1~5 when all the kids from the nearby middle school linger in streets and curse people out. The people in this section of the street are rude and violent. On the outside of the projects (yes sunnydale is a government housing), there is a section that runs through a small part between Crocker Amazon Park and John Mclaren Park. On the east end can be found the private church school for K-8 Our Lady of Visitacion school.
