"Greatest shame for the Chicago tour spots ever!"

WARNING: You will experience the following problems if you go to North Michigan Ave.

#1. You can hardly find any real restaurant in this area and everything is over priced in this area!
#2. The road traffic is extremely NASTY, the private cars are very troublesome in this area. Driving on this street can serious delay your business. Excessive of the stay just makes you suffer the crowded and noise!
#3. Crowded people. You can hardly walk normally, especially when you are doing long distance hiking in Chicago!
#4. It can seriously damage the international festival celebration (You can't find any international restaurant this area!)
#5. It is extremely dangerous to bike on Michigan Ave shopping street
#6. It doesn't make any sense to walking along the shopping street with the crowded traffic.
#7. Some people go there for just shopping expensive stuff and show around, which serious degrades the reality of the Chicago trip. What's more, the people over there are not friendly and don't really care. (Showing wealth is the greatest shame for the tour in any city!)
#8. The taxi drivers can be aggressive in this area, which can bring you the angers!

Due to the serious situation, the North Michigan Ave must not be in the Chicago travel spots, instead, we will use the 12 following of strategies. (This area is the greatest shame for the Chicago tour spots!)

Strategies of travelling in Chicago:

#1. Choose Lincoln Park as the 1st day for your journey in Chicago, including Lincoln Park Zoo, conservatory and nature museum

#2. Edgewater beach is a highly recommended area during the summer time, not only can you enjoy the beach over there, but also you can celebrate international festivals over there. Besides, you can hold a lot of parties over there. You can get a lot of grocery shopping at good price and experience a lot of ethic restaurants in Edgewater of Chicago.

#3. In terms of the restaurants in Chicago, do those in Lake View, Uptown, Edgewater & Evanston. You can also go to Chinatown and have the great food over there. Hyde Park is also a good choice for restaurants.

#4. Museum Campus is a good travel spot since you can learn a lot of stuff from the museums

#5. Hyde Park is highly recommended for Museum of Science & Industry and University of Chicago

#6. Evanston is highly recommended for Northwestern University, Light House Beach and nice downtown view. Sometimes there are art festivals, farm market in downtown Evanston. You can also have cook out party in the Evanston parks along the Michigan Lake.

#7. Ba'hai House of Worship is highly recommended as an additional Evanston tour.

#8. Service in poor areas of Chicago is necessary and very crucial!

#9. We only put downtown at the end of the journey with Millennium Park, Navy Pier and visit some federal buildings or Skydeck of Chicago and the tour time is no more than 5 hours and absolutely no North Michigan Ave at any time!

#10. If you really wanna do fashion shopping, do the alternative way in Westfield, Skokie, IL, you do not only get rid of the crowded traffic, but also you will have the nice view of the shopping area and you have your own walking space.

#11. Brookfield Zoo should be a travel spot since most children like the animals very much. Besides, you will learn a lot about the Chicago zoological society.

#12. Chicago Botanic Garden, Glencoe, IL is also a good choice for the Chicago tour, you do not only stay away from the crowded road traffic, but also you can relax yourself and experience the nature. What's more, you can learn a lot about different plants from this garden.
Cons
  • Not a Chicago spot at all
  • Overpriced shopping and showing wealth (That's very bad practice!)
  • Nasty road traffic
