"Hang Ah Alley: Short"

Hang Ah alley is a very short path that extends into Pagoda Place. There is not much to see in this alley but the playground nearby. There is an entrance to the basketball courts in this alley where the locals often play. It is welcome to all people though. The playground is further down, only a short walk away. The alley is short, but it is not that clean. Since it is located in ChinaTown, the local bird, the pigeon, is everywhere. This means that there are multiple bird droppings on the path of this alley. There is also dried up gum and random bits of trash here and there. This area could be improved if people who visited the playground and facilities kept it clean and it definetely deserves to be cared for since so many people visit it. There is a Hang Ah Tea restaurant that is located more on the Pagoda Place than Hang Ah itself, but it serves authentic Chinese food and it has great service.

"Hang Ah Alley A Typical Chinatown Alley"

Hang Ah alley is located in Chinatown. This alley connects Sacramento St. and Clay St. This alley is nothing earth shaking but is a perfect example af a Chinatown alley that controls traffic and serves as a place of buisness for the locals. Normally buildings in alleys in Chinatown have buisnesses on the first floor and SRO hotels on the upper floors. While trversing Hang Ah alley during a tour the guide pointed out where she lived for 10 years until she moved acroos the street to another SRO where she lived for another 10 years. The alley is scheduled for renovation in the near future. The city intends to improve traffic control place several historical markers.
