Chinatown, San Francisco - What are home prices like at the lower, middle and top end?

"Home prices" in Chinatown, San Francisco vary a lot depending on what you are looking for.

First of all,however, you have to consider that you don't get a lot of "homes" in Chinatown--these are mostly apartments here.

On the low end, you can buy a condo for about $450 K if it is in foreclosure

On the high end, both literally and figuratively, you can buy a 3000 foot floor of a high rise for $2.2 million--complete with views of the Transamerica Pyramid.

The average or median is probably around $1 million.
