"Duncombe Alley A Very Relaxing Alley"

Duncombe Alley is located in Chinatown between Pacific Ave. and Jackson Ave. This is a very historical signifigant alley in the history of Chinatown. This alley was filled with bars/opium dens. It also had many apartment and rooms for rent. Duncombe Alley also Illustrates how many alleys in Chinatown have an english name and a chinese name. The chinese name for Duncombe Alley was Fat Boy Alley name after a tall 240 pound boy that used to live in the alley.
