Cincinnati has a large Catholic population and there are many Catholic churches around the Cincinnati area. There are even several Catholic churches in Downtown Cincinnati. A lot of times people choose a church for their wedding based on the parish they belong to, but i f you're more flexible on location, I recommend St. Peter in Chains Cathedral in Downtown Cincinnati. It is a mid-19th century constructed Greek-revival church. The interior is extremely ornate with Greek-themed mosaics. Another gorgeous location is right over the river in Covington, Kentucky: St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. St. Mary's, built in 1910, is one of 35 minor basilicas in the U.S. and features the largest stained glass church window in the world.
