Many of the Northern Kentucky neighborhoods are less expensive than comparable Cincinnati neighborhoods. Depending on where you work, living in Northern Kentucky might be a good option. Many Northern Kentucky neighborhoods are convenient to Downtown Cincinnati, making for an easier commute than some of the Cincinnati neighborhoods. Other than that, I'd say there is definitely a difference between the two places with the people and attitudes being somewhat different.
