There are a number of places throughout the Cincinnati area where you can practice rock climbing indoors (controlled environment and supervised.) If you want to go rock climbing in the city limits, then head to the Campus Recreation Center on the University of Cincinnati's uptown campus. You can be a member if you fall into one of their categories, such as current UC student, UC alumnus or employee, or are a member of the community aged 18 or older. The Campus Rec Center offers a state of the art facility, including a climbing wall. If you don't want a membership, you can pay a day rate of $20. Some of the other places to go climbing are Climb Time on Kenwood Road in Blue Ash or RockQuest Climbing Center on Kemper Road in Sharonville. RockQuest is a little pricier than Climb Time, but has a more extensive facility and longer operating hours.
