I do, occasionally, shop the Main Street business district in Over-The-Rhine. Park + Vine is a great store on Main Street where you can find all sorts of green items, food, and supplies, as well as vegan cookbooks. If you're hungry, you can grab a vegan lunch at their lunch counter. Some of my other favorites aren't on Main Street, but are still in Over-The-Rhine. High Street on Reading Road is a large store with a bit of everything. It's mainly a home decor store, but they sell way more than home decor. The items they sell are unique, funky, and eclectic. They have women's clothing, children's toys, and jewelry, in addition to furniture and other home decor items. Another shop filled with unique items is MiCA on Vine Street. They offer unique regional and local items, many of them handcrafted by local artisans. The reasons I don't shop this area more often are that I neither live nor work in Downtown Cincinnati, so it's a little bit of a trek for me. The other reason is that parking can sometimes be tricky, depending on when you go.
