Could you recommend a clean, safe pet boarding facility that is centrally located? The opinions expressed here are those of the individual and not those of StreetAdvisor. Report
I would check out The Pet Spot in Norwood. They are conveniently and centrally located just off the Norwood Lateral. Rates at The Pet Spot are lower than at Red Dog. While I've never boarded my dogs there, I've heard good things about them...more so than Red Dog. Most, if not all, pet daycare and boarding facilities will feed your pets the food you bring as an alternative to what they offer. For pet boarding, I highly recommend bringing their normal food, because being away from home is stressful enough (no need to add strange food into the mix.)

I agree. Red Dog is expensive but our pets always seem happy and in good condition when we pick them up. They will feed your pet any food you bring, or will provide Ohio made 100% pet food from Pet Wants of Findlay Market. It's a great place.
I've never boarded a pet there, but I've passed by the Red Dog Pet Resort many times and it truly looks like a fun place for dogs. It's a relatively new facility, newly built where the Oakley Drive in used to be. They offer day care, spa services and canine and feline ( hotel) accommodations. They have web cams and many other amenities. It looks like the perfect place to pamper your dog... or cat.
