There are tons of great Indian restaurants in Cincinnati, so you have plenty to choose from and most of the them are very good, too. In the Clifton area you can dine at Ambar, Krishna, Deep India, and Dusmesh. In the Hyde Park/Oakley area you can eat at Shaan or Baba India. Montgomery and Blue Ash offer up a number of Indian places from Kanak, Azad, Bombay Brazier, and Tandoor. Sharonville features all vegetarian Indian, Brij Mohan Indian Sweets & Restaurant, as well as, New Krishna, and Curries (formerly Sankalp). In Roselawn you can dine at Amma's Kitchen, which is another vegetarian Indian restaurant; they even offer a vegan buffet on Wednesdays (they also are kosher). These are just a small sampling of the many Indian restaurants around the Cincinnati area. So, if you're craving Indian food, you probably don't have to go very far to get it.

My favorite Indian restaurant in Cincinnati is hands-down Dusmesh in Northside (944 Ludlow Ave., down the street from the main business district). It opened relatively recently (maybe a year or two ago?) and has since then become extremely popular in Cincinnati. It's sort of a hidden gem in that many people haven't heard of it, but to give you an example of how much its customers like that, it's rating on UrbanSpoon out of 891 votes is 91%...higher than any of the other award-winning, famous Indian restaurants in Clifton! I highly recommend this place, it's delicious. I actually at there a couple days ago and could not be happier with the food I got. I've really never eaten somewhere with such good Indian food, and as an added bonus it's not super expensive!
