Chicago With kids

The city boasts a plethora of activities for families and kids. On nice days the fountain at Millennium Park is a hit as is the "Bean". Other fun activities include a horse drawn carriage ride on Michigan Avenue or the Garfield Park Conservatory. Of course there is Navy Pier, The Museum of Science and Industry, The Field Museum, The Shedd Aquarium and countless other options.

As I experience these things with my children I'll write a brief review as well as other ideas for spending days in Chicago with kids!

You listed some great places to peak in with the little ones. The beaches during the summer are also a big hit and the kids can enjoy splashing around a bit. Navy Pier is always a big hit with children since it has that carnival-like feel. Checking the events calender for the area is also a good bet as plenty of great events go down that are child-friendly.

Aside from the Crown Fountain and the Bean, Millennium Park has a full schedule of kids activities and "Kids Zone" at the park through Sep 3rd! http://www.millenniumpark.org/parkevents/event.aspx?id=1110 So much to do, so little time.....
