"Visit the zoo and take a break from the city."
The Sacramento Zoo is right on W Land Park Drive. It only costs $9 to get in and there is so much to do there. They neighborhoods in this area are very quiet and beautiful. I recommend going to the zoo to get away from the whole downtown vibe if you feel like you need a change of pace. Very lush, green old trees are everywhere. It's very serene.
