Green Springs Highway is one of the most traveled alternative and primary routes in Birmingham. Green Springs Highway connects downtown Birmingham to the city of Homewood and Highway 31. There are many good restaurants and bars on Green Springs Highway. There are also an endless number of shopping centers, boutiques, and grocery stores. Great place to visit!

"Great place to live"

Lakeshore drive is a great place to consider living. Lakeshore drive is located just outside of downtown Birmingham. There is tons of shopping. There are also tons of restaurants, including fast food and fine dining. You are also very near some of the areas best golf courses. One of Birmingham's most popular shopping destinations, Wildwood, is located on Lakeshore Drive. You are also very nearby one of Birmingham's best hospitals, Brookwood Medical Center.

"Live it up!"

Highland Avenue is a very popular street in Birmingham. It runs through the heart of the Southside all the way up Red Mountain, which offers nice views of the downtown landscape. Highland Avenue is known for its nice houses, boutiques, apartments, and high rise condos. Highland Avenue has great dining and shopping within walking distance. It is a great place to live without running into too much of the hussle and bussle of city life.

Richard Arrington Jr Boulevard North, also known as 21st Street North, runs right through the heart of Birmingham. It goes from the Southside to the Northside. Many of Birmingham's most prolific businesses and buildings are located on this street. This street also takes you directly to the Birmingham Civic Center, which is where many concerts and conventions take place.

Highway 280 is without a doubt the busiest street in Birmingham, Al. You can find anything and everything you want or need on Highway 280. This very long major highway connects Jefferson and Shelby counties. There are endless amounts of restaurants, clubs, bars, shopping places, and places of residence along Highway 280. Try to avoid this busy highway during rush hour unless you want to turn a 10 minute commute into 60!

You will find some of Birmingham's oldest skyscrapers and buildings here. You will also find Sloss Furnaces located just off of 1st Avenue North, which is one of Birmingham's oldest and most cherished landmarks of the Iron industry.

Lorna road is a widely used street in Birmingham. It serves as an alternative road to the busy Highway 31 and is a great alternate route to the shopping experience of the Galleria Mall. However, this road is also known as Little Mexico. The majority of illegal aliens live on this road. You will find 30-50 of them sitting on the sides of Lorna Road at any give point in the day waiting for work.
