"An Artery Through an Afflent Community"

Stone Valley Road starts at Dublin Blvd. in Alamo and crosses to the east. Although it starts in a commercial area in Alamo, it is mostly a residential straight away to the east of the 680. As you head east it gets very leafy and narrow and it doesn’t curve much for a while. The houses are large—many of them are McMansions from the dot com. bubble years, and Alamo is known as an affluent community. You will still run into many untended lots as you move along, especially on the northern side of the road. This all used to be farmland a generation ago.

At the curve in the road you see the edge of the sprawling country club. There are lots of swimming pools and SUV’s around here. Just as you run into the Mormon church you have reached Danville.
