"Very quiet and safe area"
This is the perfect place to reside. It is not far away from public transportation fairly close to restaurants and coffee places. You are obviously very near prospect park. There is a nice community center a few blocks away with swimming pool and gym. A Lidl just opened in 2026 just 2 blocks away. There is also a car rental (Enterprise) nearby. You can get to downtown Manhattan in 20 minutes. I love it!

Stoddard Pl
"This is Stoddard"
Plenty of cheap food, but nothing really to do in the way of entertainment. I didn't like this street. It was unattractive, the people were rude, and it was very smelly. I wasn't impressed and don't think you'll see this street on any tours of New York City anytime soon. It's fairly convenient though and it is close to the metro! You'll find more in terms of conveniences, but nothing too interesting.
