"Expensive homes with a phenomenal view"

Three Tree Point first drew me in for the terrific scuba diving locations. It's not that hard to get to, though the public beach accesses are limited. And, I suppose, for good reason. The residents of this neighborhood enjoy outstanding views of South Puget Sound and paid dearly to get it. Homes and lots in this area are huge and quite expensive. A line of them sit right on the beach, separated only by a fairly good sized back yard.

Since Three Tree Point isn't on the way to anywhere, as you can imagine, the neighborhoods are very peaceful and quiet. Like most of the Seattle area, trees grow in abundance and are very well kept by the homeowners. Front and back yard gardens are beautiful and provide a splash of color everywhere you look. If you can afford to live on the beach, this is one of the nicest and quietest neighborhoods in the city.

"Interesting little side street neighborhood"

All of the huge houses on this tiny little single-car lane offer outstanding westerly views of Puget Sound. The lots are huge, though there are several of them along this 1-block stretch of road. Some of the outbuildings and garages close to the street aren't nearly on the same extravagant level as the homes they belong to, giving the neighborhood a little bit of a run-down feel. Since the little street is basically a connector between two dead end streets, the only traffic that it gets are from the residents and their visitors. The lawns and gardens are very well maintained and beautiful. The neighbors are very friendly to each other, though they aren't fond of outsiders visiting the area if they don't belong. The homes are, of course, very expensive and each have access to the beach from their back doors.
