"Peaceful country living"
This area of Hereford is so nice and friendly. We have a neigborhood welcome brunch each time a new family moves in. We have parties and all have a great time. Most everyone even knows the names of our kids and dogs and keeps and eye out for school buses, strangers etc. The kids and adults can walk dogs, ride bikes etc safely.
While we are considered rural, the Sierra Vista Mall is just a ten minute drive down Hwy 92. We have the Hereford Post office up the street and a couple of really nice restaraunts too! The Mesquite Tree has been around for years serving some of the best steaks and ribs you can imagine! We also have Ricardos and Nicks Pub right at the end of Hereford road! In Sierra Vista we have all the doctors, hospital etc that you could need.
The children in our area attend the Palominas school district schools which are Valley View, Palominas and Coronado. All are Grades K - 8 and rate much higher than the ones in Sierra Vista. Smaller class sizes and better teachers!
We have wonderful views of the Huachuca Mountains and our weather is the best around! We are considered high desert and have some snow on the top of the mountains in Winter but our summers are also much cooler than the lower cities, like Tucson and Phoenix.
With shopping, great schools, lots of room to excersise, bike ride etc, I rate this area the best I have ever lived in and think you would too!
