I absolutely love "Happy Donuts" down on 3rd and King (across the street from AT&T park). Not only are their donuts great, but they serve the best fried chicken in town! Also try their fried chicken and waffle sandwich for an amazing chicken and waffle experience, which is not very present in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Hope you enjoy!

I'm not sure what the "Hearth Hotel" is, but if you mean the "Country Hearth Inn" or any of Lombard's hotels, there are a few options. BART isn't on the north end of the city, but the cluster of stops that run along Market street are your best bet for close BART stations. Civic Center is technically the closest, but jumping off any stop along market and getting a ride on the Muni or a cab will take you there is relatively the same amount of time. Hope that helps!
