Great places in SF!

Hey guys,

Living in San Francisco for about eight years, I'm just curious, what's the greatest place in SF do you like to go to? For me, it would have to be Crissy Field. I go there a lot on weekends with my friends and we always have a fun time.

So what's the greatest place in SF for you?!

There's a couple of places for me:

North Beach/Little Italy - I love hanging out on a Sunday on North Beach, the many cafes and restaurants on Columbus.

Embarcadero - the Ferry building has some very different places to hang out.

Union Square shopping, and Westfield Shoppingtown on Market St. Catching a movie or free reading in Borders.

I also live MOMA, opposite the Moscone/3rd St. One of the best museums.

And lately - The Apple Store. I just can't help myself!

Hi guys,

Yes, definitely the Embarcadero for me, I love it down there especially on sunny days. Also you can't go wrong with fisherman's wharf.

hi jackvsawyer, yes I often goto Alamo park on weekends to quietly read my books...shhhh dont tell anyone :)

I think everyone is missing the best one - the bay itself! I was flying out of town for work the other week, and we flew out on a really clear day and got to see the whole city in all it's glory. It was amazing, made me realize what an amazing city SF is.

I love Friday nights after work, heading down the Embarcadero to AT & T Park for a Giants game, under the Bay Bridge. The atmosphere is great, everyone in a party mood, the bars all packed.

One of my fav all time secret squirrel spots is a small little park just up on Lyon St and Broadway. It's more like a small walkway, but it's right up on top of the hill and get an amazing view of the bay. Great for thinking about the meaning of life stuff and also envying all the rich people.

Is it also wrong if i say Pioneer Park? I know's it stoopidly touristy, but i remember the first time i went up there when i came to SF and loved it.
