Check out the 110-acre Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome (actually in Red Hook) which has an incredible collection of flying pioneer, WW-I, and Lindbergh era airplanes. There are air shows every Saturday and Sunday summer through fall, weather permitting, and special events – like a British Car Rally. Thrill-seekers can put on a vintage-looking helmet and goggles and take a ride in a bi-plane, 1,2000 feet in the air. You can explore the 434-acre Montgomery Place, a restored Federal-style house designed by Alexander Jackson Davis, which has beautiful gardens, fields and woods. Golfers should head to the semi-private Red Hook Golf Course.
