About how many power outages does one experience in Red Hook per year on average?

That's hard to say, because you can't predict the weather. Most power outages occur when trees fall on the power lines, which will happen during severe summer storms or during wet, heavy snowstorms. Red Hook does respond quickly to blackouts, the electric companies sometimes bringing in crews from other areas to help out if their own have too many repairs to make.
