What are some good options for birthday parties in Philadelphia?

I am helping plan a birthday celebration for a group of kids and would love to hear some local suggestions. I am looking for a venue that offers more than just a place to eat, preferably somewhere the kids can stay active and have something fun to do throughout the party.

Indoor venues seem like a good choice, especially when the weather is unpredictable. Skating is one activity I am considering because it can keep the kids entertained while also giving them something they can enjoy together. Philly Skate Plex is one of the local options on my list, but I am also interested in hearing about other experiences.
