I am relocating to Philly from NYC and planning on buying a property.

I am a single 40 something professional with my own business. I often work from home. I am looking for a 2 bedroom/2 bath with outdoor space. My budget is rather limited so Center City is out. Where can I make a good investment, feel safe and be centrally located? What neighborhoods should I explore?

I'm actually a real estate agent who specializes in just this sort of thing. I'd recommend Cobbs Creek in particular (part of West Philly,) as a great place to invest/live affordably, and certain places in Wynnefield and Overbrook may suit your needs as well. Parts of South Philly - zip code 19148 in particular - can potentially offer you a 2-3 br house in need of little to no work for $100k or less, as well. Feel free to contact me if you like, and good luck!
