North 13th St, Arlington Heights

I lived in a basement apartment for one year on N 13th st at Kilbourn Ave in Milwaukee while attending Marquette University. I was 2 blocks from school. I was only one block from the bus stop so I had great access to the city bus system. I lived across the street from Sinai hospital. Great if I needed medical care I guess (I never used it) but the ambulances coming in to the emergency room could be quite loud. I was also unhappy about the vagrants that could walk by and yell into my windows. Fortunately the windows had bars on them to add to our safety. I do not recommend N 13th St to families, just to college students.
