What is your preference? Water views or golf views?

New Rochelle is blessed to offer the Sutton Manor area, Sans Souci, Davenport Avenue area, and those great golf courses too at Wykagyl, properties overlook Pelham Country Club, Bonnie Briar... what are your preferences and why?

If you have the money like Rockefeller you can have both. :-) Kykuit was built on the highest hill overlooking Tarrytown for a great view of the Hudson Rier. John D Rockefeller was also an early adopter of golf in America and had a 9-hole reversible course built around his house.

Water Views hands Down! I grew up on The Hudson River in what was known as The Tarrytowns - now Tarrytown & Sleepy Hollow, plus used to have lunch overlooking the Hudson from the shores of Dobbs Ferry at Our Lady of Victory Academy. When we return to Tarrytown to see our wonderful Dentist - Dr. Peter Zegerelli - as we spy the Mighty Hudson it just takes our breath away. We also used to enjoy fireworks from spots along the Hudson.

Personally, I prefer water views. Golf courses are nothing but formerly beautiful woods and fields that have been stripped, covered with artificial turf, and drowned in pesticides. What's to like?

Gay E. Rosen PRO Hi Suzie - some people love those golf views.. and wait in line to purchase homes overlooking the greens! The majority of people seem to prefer water views - IF they can afford them! I personally love the water views too.. so tranquil .. I def. agree with you!
