What is your favorite Deli in New Rochelle?
We all tend to go to a deli in 'our' neighborhood which is understandable, so what is your favorite deli? I personally love the Avenue Deli at 704 North Avenue - close to IONA, and because of the busy location, the food is always fresh, and the help - well - always helpful!
Another favorite is the Italian Meateria at 33 Quaker Ridge Road.. Again, always fresh (breads straight from Arthur Avenue), and you can experience that 'homey' local feeling that is always nice. They have a great selection of sandwich and hero choices (just like the Avenue Deli), and they are fast and efficient. Like the Avenue Deli, they cook fresh foods every day if you don't want to do so at home! Both stores great for those 6 foot party heros!
