What do you do with your children a rainy day?

With Hurricane Sandy on the horizon, it might limit some of our choices, but I can recall when my children were younger, and it was rainy, or they were just recovering from a family bout of flu, an indoor picnic was always fun... we would 'camp out' on the kitchen floor, lay down a picnic tablecloth, and have a picnic with flashlights, book and games... playdates always work too... renting some movies, playing games, or even signing up as a volunteer at the local Humane society and going to work there as a volunteer. Nothing can beat "I helped someone" feeling ...

New Rochelle Library is a great place for kids on rainy days. It contains a lot books and activities for kids.
