Does the Near North Side neighborhood in Chicago have alot of crime compared to the rest of Chicago?

Absolutely not. The Near North Side has very little crime, and not just for Chicago, but in general. As it's a tourist-heavy locale, police are around in greater force to make sure that those who visit Chicago don't leave with a bad impression.
