"Good, Bad and Parking issues."

Mitchell Street is a long and winding road that has a good mix of affordable older houses and newly renovated higher priced homes. This was once a neighborhood of long standing residents, where families all knew each other and there was a tightly knit community feel to it. Now with the ever changing faces in the area, and a new and younger generation buying houses on the street, something seems to have been lost. As the older homes have been bought up and renovated and "Flipped," the neighbors seem to be more reclusive and less interested in socializing with neighbors. Families with kids still live on parts of the street, so there are pockets where the old Mitchell Street 'family-feel' still exists. Little corner stores still exist along this street and there is access to the Ridge Avenue stores, BUT, parking is still an issue on this street because it is only allowed on one side.
