"As calm and serene as SF gets"
A nice small community of little homes. Although my neighbors were mostly 50 and above I'd recommend it for any college student who "really" wants to be able to learn and study. My sweet little old neighbor used to bake me cookies from time to time and deliver them to my door step; with a pink of my cheek she'd walk away saying "now you be good". There wasn't too much through traffic and I got into the life of city with quiet ease relative to general San Francisco madness.

Laguna St
"Charming just to drive along."
Laguna Street is filled wall to wall with beautiful victorian style homes. Located in the heart of the city between Geary and Broadway on one side and Franklin and Divisadero on the other, Laguna Street has it all. Close to excellent shopping and restuarants for the entire family. Excellent place to live if you can afford it. Be careful parking your car on this steep street.
