How Can People Live With Their Consciences Knowing Gentrification Displaces the Powerless and Poor?

In other words, why should poor people have to become homeless, just so trendy, more affluent types can have a "cool" adventure living in an "authentic" area? I realize in advance you likely won't have the courage to print this question, but it remains just the same, as YOU will see it, obviously.

A better question is how people manage to live in small spaces with high rents. People go where their jobs are and find apartments where they can afford to find apartments. An individual's conscience has little to do with it.

Sadly, people don't feel it is their fault ....it was someone or something that put these unfortunate and poor people in the position they are in. These are not the thoughts and
wishes that they would have. Simply because they live in close proximity does not cause the blame to be theirs.
AS IS SAID, "Those who stand by idly and quietly are not part of making it better but are part of making it so intensely worse."
