Gage Park, Chicago - good neighborhood for singles?

It's not the most exciting place, but Gage Park is okay for lower income singles who need a good price for a rental. This whole area isn't the safest though, so my recommendation is very low.

Gage Park is a pretty quiet neighborhood, so I'm not sure if it's ideal for the typical single. If you want to be close to nightlife, it's probably not the ideal spot, but it's a relaxing area if that's what you're after.
