"Near West Oaks Mall"
Located in West Houston, very close to Katy, Eldridge is located just off of Interstate 10. With the newly widened freeway, this area provides easy access to many Houston destinations. Main roads found in this area are Eldridge and Highway 6. This is a more established area of West Houston, while the outskirts of Westchase are growing at a rapid pace. There are many office buildings and parks around this area, so that leaves less space for residential subdivisions, although you will find some. Apartment homes are plentiful in this tree lined plush area. There is ample shopping, dining, and entertainment, and one of a kind restaurants.
Eldridge is very close to the Energy Corridor, which is home to the majority of the Oil Companies in Houston. Newly created parks, hike and bike trails, and dog parks will consume your time if enjoy outdoor activities. There are a variety of chain restaurants and shopping centers to choose from in this area.

"Eldridge/West Oaks, Houston"
The neighborhoods of Eldridge and West Oaks are within close proximity to one another. These are terrific offerings in the city of Houston. You will find that these locations are a perfect blend between urban and suburban offerings. They can be accessed through a number of the city’s major roadways. Some of these include Interstate Highway 10, State Highway 90, State Road 6, and the Katy Freeway. These neighborhoods are unique in that they are nestled in the heart of the George Bush Park. When you visit this area you will enjoy the luscious greenness here. The park itself provides these neighborhoods with many visitors from around the city.

"A wonderful part of town"
I grew up in this area. It is quite close to the amenities of Houston, yet with a more relaxed atmosphere than the inner city. This area has great amenities and is a short distance from great nightlife. I would recommend the nightclub "Hush" for those interested in going out on the weekends.
