Detroit St, Sunnyside

Detroit Street is a small street located in the sunnyside district. It is a very short street that is only 2 blocks long. It leads to a big staircase that leads up to Monterey Blvd. This staircase is a popular hangout for the young people thta live in the neighborhood. It runs parallel to the busy Monterey Blvd. It is a quiet area that is close to Sunny side park, which has a dog area, a recreation center, a tennis court, a playground, and a basketball court. This street is very safe. It is very close to a conveinence store, a safeway, and many other stores. I great place for families or retirees. It is very close to Balboa BART station and has access to muni buses.
