Rock Bottom is an okay brewery. Their beer is pretty tasty, but not remarkable and they have a similar feel to Old Chicago on speed. The Denver Chop House is an upscale version of Rock Bottom (I think they are owned by the same folks). The food is delicious and again, the beer is pretty tasty.

Wynkoop also have pretty tasty beer, but nothing I would go out of my way to buy at a liquor store. However, they have an awesome second floor that is full of rollicking fun and pool tables. They have had the privilege of taking a LOT of my money. It is a fun, laid-back place to hang out with friends and from what I can remember their restaurant is pretty tasty, but kind of expensive.

Flying Dog brewery has awesome beer. I love their beer and buy it often. Besides, how can you resist the names, such as Flying Dog in Heat Wheat? I have never been to their brewery, but I have always wanted to go. Definitely give their tasty beverages a try if you have not already.

The Sandlot, Pint's Pub, Hops Grill and Bar, Gnash Brewing, Bull and Bush, Broadway Pub and Brewmeisters are all microbreweries in and around Denver, proper. I have never been to any of them, which is just sad and may have to be rectified into a pub crawl.

I can attest that their is a microbrewery walking tour that provides... stuff and an introduction to a few of the microbreweries in town. I have never partaken of their expertise because of my adventurous streak, but it may be a great starting point for trying the microbreweries out.
