If you had to live on Colfax, what would be the safest apartment complex?

I can not speak to any particular complexes, however, my family and I lived near Colfax and Madison (just 1 block to the south of Colfax) and absolutely loved it. We lived in a basement level condo which we own and we never felt anything but safe. We resided there for over 5 years and never experienced any issues (nor have any of our tenants). I know that there are quite a few homes around this area that have been converted into apartments some of which might be available. I would definitely recommend this area. There are a good number of restaurants in the area and sprouts is working on opening up a location near there as well.
