I've been told numerous times that Cheesman park is very haunted. There are bus tours that go through the park talking about it's history as a very interesting and sometimes dark place. According to http://www.haunteddenver.com/most-haunted-houses/ "Ghost sightings run rampant."

Now, I've lived here for 8 years and apparently I've missed out on those rampant sightings, but it's always intrigued me none-the-less. When I'm walking my dog in the park at night and I hit a cold burst of air, I always chuckle to myself that I've bumped into a ghost :)

I like the Web Site. I had heard that Cheesman Park was built on top of a Cemetery, but I did not know all of that. I love reading things like this.

I know that the Oxford Hotel has been rumored to be Haunted. There is a Haunted tour of Downtown and of Capital Hill. I went on this Several Years ago around Halloween but I think they will do it year round if you are interested.

I have heard there have been many ghost sitings and disturbances at the home of Molly Brown in Denver. Such as floral scents and tobacco smells and Molly Browns mother sited in the upstairs window. I went one day to explore this wonderful old home but when I arrived it was just closing. I can't wait to return and experience the history of this famous lady of Denver.

I don't know how factual the story is, but here's another website to check out that has info on Cheesman Park. http://www.legendsofamerica.com/co-cheesmanpark.html Kind of gruesome, really.
