The Denver Zoo has "Boo at the Zoo" every year and has over 25 trick or treat stations and entertainment. It's a great, safe place for kids to go trick or treating.

It is kind of a drive from Denver but my family loves loves Fritzler Corn Maze located seven miles south of Greeley on Highway 85--this years bug maze is of Peyton (hehehe). There is haunted paintball zombie event and also a pumpkin patch and what they call "non-scary" events for the little ones or faint of heart (I say that will all affection)
