Chester Ave, Oleander Sunset

Chester Ave runs connects you all the way from some of the shadiest places in Bakersfield to some nicer areas. Take Chester Ave all the way north of downtown to the Kern County Museum for a cool afternoon. I love how Bakersfield has that old western feel to it as does most parts of Kern County.

Chester Avenue is really where it's all at when it comes to Bakersfield. It's got everything, and it doesn't have it then it can lead certainly lead you to it. While mostly clean and nice, it does have a few bad places that you may not want to stop for too long, so be sure and watch where you are going. This street literally goes from one end of Bakersfield to the other, so be fore warned!
