There is actually a great little brewery with a winery right next door in North Boulder. The brewery is Upslope brewery and is located at the corner of 28th Street and Lee Hill Drive. Right next door to it is the BookCliff Vineyards. They are both open for tastings and often host food-trucks and musicians on a Friday evening, so you can have a drink and get cheap great food after work. Another excellent option is the Avery Brewpub on Arapahoe and about 56th street, it is a little hidden off the road, but is worth the search and they also have a little catering service across the street where yo can order really good food for lunch and dinner.
So many breweries... I really like Mountain Sun beer and like the Southern Sun venue in South Boulder the best for catching music and hanging with friends. As far as wineries I don't know of any in Boulder? There is a local company that brews honey mead...its called Redstone Meadery
