"New developments - near sewage pumping station and reeking of foil odors, stay away from Berry Street"

worst nightmare, no public transportation, smells like a toilet from all of the sewer system running underneath, no neighborhood spirit, bunch of arrogant college grads, feels like a dorm, loud music day and night, highest earthquake risk in the entire San Francisco area (check liquefaction maps if you have doubts). STAY AWAY.

AdamS Hi SFMan123123,

Again I like to give every reviewer the benefit of the doubt. Do you think the street will improve once the works are finished?

"Best New Neighborhood in San Fran"

Berry St. is a short street, about 5 blocks stretching from ATT Park to 7th Street/CalTrain crossing. On the south side of the street is a waterfront promenade with boat launch and parks. Walk to the Ferry Building for the farmers market or to visit the restaurants along Embarcadero. You can walk to dozens of restaurants ranging from informal to high-end.

Easy access to 280 Freeway, CalTrain, Muni. Walking distance to Safeway, Starbucks, Salons. Shops are coming but for most things you have to take Muni the 5 stops to downtown.

SFMan123123 Some of these reviews are fake: know for a fact that some building managements are posting to boost the sales in the area. Do not be fooled.

AdamS Hi SFMan123123,

Not meaning to sounds too negative here, but this review hardly seems biased. I've never visited before, but I don't think it speaks outlandishly high of the area?

"Young, rapidly developing neighborhood"

Very close to public transportation, the ball park, and lots of amazing restaurants. Walking distance of great museums and the financial district.

SFMan123123
SFMan123123 Sorry, comment above should also mention the 10 minute walk to the nearest bus. There are only 5 restaurants within 20 min walk (very poor record for SF area). The street stinks day and night from near-by sewer plant that pumps sh** and vents in all over the area. It always ends up in our condo. Plus the whole street is built on reclaimed land, highest earthquake risk of SF area (check USGS maps).

SFMan123123
SFMan123123 when a review sounds too good to be true, it generally is a marketing campaign from new buildings management that cannot sell their units. Should have thought of the stench and informed residents too, when you built these buildings next to the pumping station.
